Many of you may be wondering where the USAC Terre Haute highlights are...Unfortunately, they will not be shown here on my site. After the treatment I received by a certain member of the promotion team at Terre Haute last Thursday, I refuse to give the new management there any exposure for free that I am not obligated to give. I was forced to pay for three top row seats (at $25 a pop) in the main grandstand in order to cover their "Grand Re-opening" for SPEED TV's "SPEED REPORT" program, because they did not or could not provide an ample place for a legitimate member of the media to cover their event from. Highlights of their event have aired on SPEED and can be seen here, but only because I was obligated to show them. The unprofessional and abusive manner in which I was treated at Terre Haute is unacceptable, and I won't stand for it. I have been in this business for 25 years and that was the worst treatment I have ever received at a racetrack. Well, almost anyway. I am owed an apology, and a refund.

So, all that said, highlights of last night's (5/23/08) Gas City event are here instead.

I-69's promoter, Jiggs Thomason knows how to treat people properly, and has always been pleasant and gracious any time we show up to his track. He knows that it's beneficial to have a working relationship with the media. Unlike some people...After all, I get a lot of hits on my site for the highlight packages I provide. A LOT. And I simply refuse to reward the poor and unprofessional behavior I received at Terre Haute last Thursday. I hope that you enjoy the highlights from Gas City and frequent I-69 Speedway often.
